Staten Island, NY • Since 2000

Harmony-heavy pop-punk with a long memory.

For 25 years, Goin' Places have been turning Staten Island basement-band energy into melodic records built on sharp hooks, layered harmonies, and an unmistakable sense of humor. What began with fast, straightforward songs about girls grew into a catalog that mixes classic pop-punk with early rock 'n' roll, Beatles-inspired melodies, and increasingly personal songwriting. From the youthful rush of Girl Songwriting 101 through Relationship Sneakers, Save The World, and the 2025 LP Imperfect, the band has continued to evolve without losing the sound and personality that started it all.

About the band

From a basement joke band to a 25-year catalog.

Richie, Frank, and Victor accidentally formed Goin' Places in May 2000. What started with funny songs and simple setups turned into records produced by Mass Giorgini and Daniel Rey, releases on labels in the U.S. and Japan, and songs that kept traveling long after the first Staten Island shows.

The through-line has stayed intact: melodic punk rock, strong harmonies, and a willingness to follow hooks wherever they go.
